About the St. Pete
Before you book your trip, we’re sure that there are things you’ll want to know about the fishing vessel St. Pete. The boat is a 23′ Parker Sport Cabin equipped with a 250 H.P. Yamaha four-stroke engine named after St. Peter the Fisherman. We outfitted the boat with one goal in mind: fishing! We added personal features to make our fishing aboard St. Pete a wonderful and memorable experience, and now we’re ready to share that experience with you.

- The boat is a 2016 Parker 2320 SC 23′ Sport Cabin.
- There are full electronics on board like GPS, Sonar, and Radar.
- Powerful, Yamaha 250 H.P. four-stroke engine with a maximum speed of 42 mph on flat water.
- The boat has an 8 1/2′ beam.
- The overall length of the boat (loa) is 30′ 9″ with the pulpit
- There’s a toilet on board because everyone needs one!
- Live bait well – Stripers love live bait, so our favorite way to fish for striped bass is to use live bait.

- How many can we take? We can accommodate up to 4 people or 2 Adults and 3 Children.
- Kid-Friendly – We’re 100% kid-friendly because there is nothing like seeing the smile on their face when they land that first fish!
- Novice Friendly – If you’ve never fished before or never had the opportunity to be on the ocean, we will show you everything you need to know.
- All fishing gear is provided. We use quality fishing gear like Shimano and Penn Reels with custom-made rods because no one likes losing that prize fish to equipment failure.
- Your fishing license is covered by the boat, so there’s no need to purchase a Massachusetts saltwater fishing license.
- You keep all of your fish up to the legal limits allowed. Sorry, no shorts and only the legal limits.
- Catch and release are allowed, so if you’re in it just for the game, we encourage catch and release.
- Experienced mate on board. There will be an experienced mate who will assist you in any way that he can and teach you what you need to know.
- The mate or the captain will clean all of your fish, so call home and tell them; Dinner is ready!
- Patron Saint: St. Peter the Fisherman. If we’re not on the fish, then pray to St. Peter because he’ll help us find some!
Why is the boat named St. Pete?
St. Peter, the fisherman, is the patron saint of the boat. That’s why the boat is called St. Pete. It has absolutely nothing to do with St. Pete, Florida. We’re all about Cape Cod, and if St. Peter can provide us with a little divine intervention and protection, then all the better! St. Peter, the patron saint of fishermen.
