The St. Pete: Our Fishing Vessel

Our boat, the St. Pete, is a meticulously outfitted 23′ Parker Sport Cabin, powered by a 250 H.P. Yamaha four-stroke engine. Named after St. Peter, the patron saint of fishermen, the St. Pete is designed with fishing in mind. It is equipped with:

A fully licensed and U.S.C.G. certified captain
Full electronics, including GPS, Sonar, and Radar
A live bait well, because stripers love live bait.
All required safety equipment
And even a toilet for your comfort!

We caught a lot of fish and had an absolute blast from start to finish. Capt. Doug is not only an excellent fisherman, but also a true professional and experienced boat captain. He knows the waters incredibly well, works hard to keep you on the fish, and makes the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and his passion for fishing really shows. They had the best time and were very impressed with the instructions and then amount of fish they were able to catch.  The first request when they came home was to book another trip! The fog was thick to start the day, but luckily Captain Doug and First Mate Bobby were able to safely navigate the Cape waters.  It didn’t take long before we were on fish.  There were three of us, and we all landed a lot striped bass right away.  We almost lost count of the total for the day (around 25), many of which were bigger than slot.  What a fun day on the water!  I said it in my review last year, but I’ll make the claim again that St. Pete Sport Fishing is the number one charter on Cape Cod.
