The Bass River Cruise – $375.00 for a Group of 6

Trip Options

We offer three trips. 9:00 AM, 11:30 AM, and 2:00 PM for parties of up to 6 people, Tuesday through Friday, May to mid-September.

The Bass River, a tidal estuary dividing the picturesque towns of Dennis and Yarmouth, boasts a rich history and ecological significance. Once a vital waterway for early settlers and maritime trade, the river now serves as a tranquil haven for wildlife and recreational enthusiasts. Its gentle currents wind through lush salt marshes, creating a mosaic of vibrant greens and blues that shift with the tides. The river’s name likely originates from the abundance of bass fish that historically thrived in its waters.

Monomoy Island Wildlife Adventure Excursion – $450 for a Group of 6

A private boat trip for up to six (6) passengers on the St. Pete. A Parker SC2320 Sport Cabin vessel. We will take you down Bass River and out into the Nantucket Sound. From there, we will proceed southeast and head out to the shores of Monomoy Island.

We offer two trips. 8:45 AM, and Noon for parties of up to 6 people, Tuesday through Friday, beginning in May and ending in mid-September.

I had an outstanding trip with St Pete Sportfishing! Capt. Doug put us right on the striped bass and the action was nonstop. We caught a lot of fish and had an absolute blast from start to finish. Capt. Doug is not only an excellent fisherman, but also a true professional and experienced boat captain. He knows the waters incredibly well, works hard to keep you on the fish, and makes the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and his passion for fishing really shows. A top 10 day for a Grandpa and his eleven year old grandson out with Capt Doug and first mate.  They had the best time and were very impressed with the instructions and then amount of fish they were able to catch.  The first request when they came home was to book another trip! I booked St. Pete Sport Fishing for a half day trip today, and boy was I thrilled!  The fog was thick to start the day, but luckily Captain Doug and First Mate Bobby were able to safely navigate the Cape waters.  It didn’t take long before we were on fish.  There were three of us, and we all landed a lot striped bass right away.  We almost lost count of the total for the day (around 25), many of which were bigger than slot.  What a fun day on the water!  I said it in my review last year, but I’ll make the claim again that St. Pete Sport Fishing is the number one charter on Cape Cod.
