Nantucket Poison Swingtail Saltwater Grub Tails 8″

The 8″ heavy-duty, saltwater soft plastic, saltwater grub tails on the Nantucket Poison Swingtail Jigs are super tough but even they will wear out over time after multiple hookups. Fish like Fluke have incredibly sharp teeth. After landing a dozen or more fish, you’ll probably want to change out the soft plastic grub on your rig. You always want to give the best presentation possible. When your lure looks beat up, replace it.

Luckily, we offer a set of 3 Saltwater Swimming Mullets packaged in all one color. Select from four colors; Electric Boogaloo, Pink Lady, Ghost White, or Nuclear Chicken. In addition, we also offer a set of 4 replacement tails where you get one of each of the four color options.

Easy to use

Carefully remove the old, worn-out swimming mullet from your jig head. Remove a replacement grub from the bag and hold it up against the hook. Note where the hook would exit the grub. Now, slowly, and carefully insert the hook through the top center of the head of the grub until you reach the point where you noted the hook would exit. Gently push the hook out through the side of the grub and you’re done.

Tip the hook of the jig with a fresh piece of squid or your favorite bait for added scent and start jigging.

Tip

Here’s a way to save even more. If you’re grub tail starts to tear where the hook comes out, remove it from the hook and flip it over. Now insert the hook again and exit through the good side. You might want to try some of your own color combinations with the Nantucket Poison Swingtail jig heads. You might discover a new combination that works really well for the type of fish that you’re targeting or one that works awesome in the area that you’re fishing.

We’re selling these heavy-duty, saltwater 8″ soft plastic swim tails as replacements for your Nantucket Swingtail Jigs. However, they work great with any weighted jig head or weedless jig. They’re a great addition to any tackle box and will work for both saltwater and freshwater species.
